GOAL:
We thoroughly enjoy the general practice of architecture! Ever since I've been a young child I've loved building (over 30 tree houses and camps). Working with you to create a solution to meet your needs is our exciting challenge and goal. That creative solution should include beauty, efficiency, stability, cost effectiveness, budget consciousness, inspiration and lasting well-being for our clients. Our highest goal is pleasing the Lord Jesus Christ- and doing a good job for you is part of that.
GENERAL PRACTICE ARCHITECTURE (Job # 974 in progress)
Churches, Family Life Centers, Sunday School Buildings, Memorials, Day Cares, Medical and Business Offices, Assisted Living, Schools, Governmental, Historic Preservation and Rehabilitation as per The Secretary of the Interior's Standards for Rehabilitation, Funeral Homes, Sports Complex Fields and Press Boxes, Restaurants, Industrial, Town Homes, Apartments, Single Family Residences, Master Planning, Interior Design.
PRACTICE & PROCEDURES
We primarily use Revit, a 3D BIM (Building Information Modeling) program with movie walkthrough capabilities. Clients are provided with e-mail pdf's for their files which can be printed at virtually any office printing company or from your own computer. Engineers are utilized as required and all codes are followed to guarantee your permitting process locally or with the state. The project usually follows the standard five phases of (1)Schematic Design, (2) Design Development, (3) Working Drawings, (4) Bid and (5) Contract Administration. Fees can be hourly, fixed or based upon a percentage of construction cost depending upon the most sensible approach for the project. Written
agreements can be a one page understanding or a multiple page standard AIA Contract Document. Generally a down payment is requested and monthly progress payments based upon completed work must be made for work to continue. Please contact us for an initial free consultation.
Zoom meetings are always welcome.
