Fort Oglethorpe City Hall renovation was brought about because the existing facility had been a health care hospital that had been added onto over time without thought for ease of use. The public had to drive to different entries and walk long distances to get to resources and then just as far to interact with other departments.

The client wanted a "one stop shop" approach. Therefore we made the main front door that stop. A public corridor connected all the services the city offered by re-configuring spaces. Now the public is well served and can be proud of their upgraded city home.

The drawing of the revised entry to the building shows how the existing entry was hidden and parking was far away. The revision removed trees, added parking at the front door and added signage on the building and a low wall at the street.
